      HANAMI "Cherry Blossom Viewing"

Hanami, « cherry blossom viewing », has been a Japanese custom since the 7th century. The cherry trees grow in abundancy in Japan and japanese people used to have pinic and karaoke under the trees when they blossom. The large Parc de Sceaux, in the suburbs of Paris, with its hundreds of apple, pear and white and pink cherry trees drags every year japanese expats and japan lovers when the cherry trees are blossoming. Let’s go together to marvel at the beauty of the flowers, take colorful pictures of the magnificent garden and castle and have, of course, a picnic . The RER station is « Parc des sceaux », line B. (30mn from Gare du Nord, 20 mn from Chatelet) I will meet you meet on Sunday 19april at noon on the quay of the RER station Parc de Sceaux, (end of the quay) If you arrive late and don’t find us, call me on my mobile, because I don’t know yet where we will stop for the pinic. Please bring your food/drink – we should also find 3 snack bars in the park. Marie Christine, mobile: 06 08 77 62 83
